Krieghoff Big Five .470NE..

Wich brand of ammo are they regulated with...Federal..Norma...anyone..??

I've been told recently that Hornady is their ammo of choice, at least for U.S. rifles. I believe it might be Norma for OCONUS rifles.

My rifle was built in 2000 and regulated with Norma ammo per the factory target. I have tested the Hornady DGX/S and they shoot to the same POA as the Norma. I have had very good luck reloading with IMR 7977:
470 Nitro Express and IMR 7977 powder-A positive reloading experience

Purchased a .470 Krieghoff three years ago. Second hand. Built 2008.

Wrote to Krieghoff and they wrote back stating that the rifle was sighted in with 500 grain Woodleigh softs made by LFB in Germany.

Email Kroeghoff in Germany with the serial number and they should get back to you.
