Info about Gun and rifle maker Charles Henry Maleham
Hi,

I am interested in any information that you gentlemen have about the Sheffield/London gun and rifle maker Charles Henry Maleham.

The company was according to Boothroyds revised Directory of British Gunmakers still active in 1975.
I am especially interested in photos and description of Malehams double rifles, Nitro and Black Powder.

Thanks
Mats

I haven't seen too many Malehams.
One I do remember was an eight bore single shotgun. It may have been at a Holt's auction or at Micks Guns or such but I had only seen that particular one online. Stood out because I thought it would have made a great 10 or 8 bore rifle.
Maybe a search on the various auction sites will pull up some useful information.

Here it is.

Hi Huvius,

Thanks for input. Its a lovely eight bore, also interesting information that Maleham became "Turner of Sheffield", something to google!
