Wow, Beautiful 8 Bore
Wow, Beautiful 8 Bore
I am not a big underlever or hammergun guy, but what a great looking rifle. Might be a little tough lugging it around all day, but darn nice rifle.

Imagine taking that back to Africa for a Buff hunt, 100+ years later.
Damn that is a beautiful rifle. Would be nice to take a buffalo with that.

I'm going back to Zim in 2015. Come along and take my 8 (or 4 if you wish) and blast away. I will take my .450-400 for plains game in SA, and my diminutive .600 for the bigger stuff.

Heym SR20It's lovely, but wined what it was like before it was refinished. Given the state of the bores probably handled and a bit worn but not abused. I do think old guns are so much nicer when well cared for, but not refinished - they just age gracefully.

poprivitRefinished or not, sure is a purdy (pun intended - I know it's not one) double. Is the asking price ,$45k, in line? I have zero idea of what it's worth.

Cal, thanks....we'll definitely have to hook up one of these days. Somebody has to back you up, shooting those bowling ball launchers of yours :-)
