V-C upgraded std model
Here are a few pics of a upgraded standard model V-C, leather covered pad, checkered cheek panels with teardrops, grip cap with reservoir, heavier engraving with more coverage.

Nice looking rifle. I wish more folks would do leather recoil pads on doubles. Incrementally it does not add much to the cost and nothing says class more than a leather covered recoil pad.

Yeah,
I'm sorry I didn't get one on my 600. Very classy and smoother to mount.

Yeah, and V-C did a really nice job on this pad. I saw this rifle too at Ken's. There was no step-up at the junction between stock and pad and everything was very tight. I had one on a shotgun and found it a bit slippery, but roughed up with normal use I think it would be a nice touch
