The Merkel at its new home

To catch everyone up, Bal decided to upgrade to a Heym therefore offered to sell me his Merkel 470. Having seen this particular rifle in action and firing it myself I knew it was accurate and fit me pretty good for an "off the shelf double". I must say the Merkel is much happier in the southern climate (as opposed to Michigan!) and more at home in the hands of a person with a little German ancestry!

I have handled and shot that rifle a time or two, it does shoot good and has nice wood.

I guess you will bring it to Texas and shoot some trees with it.

Well, at least you are no longer Bolt Rifle Trash.
