BrettAKSCICalling all big bores!!!!
Ok. Sold the A. Hollis .500/450 and flipped a new Manton .360 no.2 in quick order. I've set my mind on something bigger. Anyone know of any English big bores coming up for sale or have friends looking to sell? .500, .577, .600 ext? Reply or PM. Thanks!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Bring it on; go big or go home!

Don't forget English-like new guns eg the Heym Jumbo!

I have no love for the hammers...........just my personal quirk. If I did there's a nice .500NE Westley Richards hammer/underlever double for sale on Champlin. Not to mention a .577 NE Manton hammer/underlever I've seen somewhere.

cal pappasI have a single shot Jeffery .600 from 1916. No hammer (external). Being a single you can shoot light loads and not worry about regulation.
