Boxhead41 Cal Handgun Bullets in the 450-400
I just realized that I have several hundred 265 gr WLNGC bullets I bought in a package deal some time ago for a 41 Bisley project that never happened. They are sized .411" so should be about ideal in my 450-400 Sabatti. Can someone suggest a load or two to start with?

470EvansI use 300gr Hornady .412 bullets in my 450/400s over the exact same powder charge as my 400gr Woodleighs. They shoot and regulate to the same POA.
Some on here call it the 75% rule, where a bullet approximately 75% of the weight of the the regular bullet will shoot to the same POA as the regular weight bullet with the same powder charge.
BTW, this works in my 470, 500/450 and 450/400s.

Have a look through previous posts, quite a few threads have run on this subject (using pistol bullets) as well as the 75% rule and loads for such.

bigfatsHey Box,
I use 57.0 AA5744/WLR/and 265 LBT/GC in my 450/400 K gun. Gives me 2359 f/s and good accuracy.
