Sign of wear?
The opening lever (not sure what it is called).. On my old k-gun the lever did not center 180 degrees.. Upon closing the action, it stayed pointing five o clock. On my New k-gun it has closed six o clock since i got it unfired. I thought it would wear gradually to this position. A lettlest worried this is a sign of not close enough tolerances to start off with. Or am i wrong?

Yes, typically the top lever will be slightly right of center and as the rifle wears, the lever will move more toward the center and ultimately to the left of center. Having it centered would not be a worry to me. If it was left of center, you can always get it looked at. Normally it is not that big of a deal to fix, they either replace the hinge pin with a slightly larger hinge pin or weld it up to a larger size and that will return the top lever to right of center.

Don't worry about where the lever position is. I assure it is locked tight regardless of where that lever ends up, 5, 6 7 o'clock. They usually are built at 5 to 6 o'clock and wear from there, but that is not important. Oh, to answer your question, basically, yes.
