Army & Navy 8 Bore
I played with this Army & Navy 8 bore today at Champlins.

I love the "Vault"!!! dancing

The barrels on this gun are pristine...they look to be un-fired. The action is super tight...takes some effort to move the underlever. The gun fit me very well, and I was impressed with the quality of the iron sights. The front bead was very small though. Gun ballanced so well that you hardly notice it weighs over 16 pounds.

He had some other new arrivals: Rigby 470, Rigby 400/360...sweet, Jeffrey 475#2, Lang 470, 1865 Lang Pinfire 20 bore...original pristine...case colors still bright...with all the tools...fantastic! These were in addition to the other 100+ doubles that I have studied many times before.

If you like double guns, and live on planet earth, you are close enough to make the visit worth while. I am blessed to be only 2 hours away, so I drop in 15-20 times a year...keeps an old man's dreams alive.

I was there today also. Had lunch with JJ and his family along with Tom Shaw. Not only are the guns great, but Tom can tell you about hunting Sudan and Ethiopia "back in the day".

Thats the kind of doublerifle I like Smiler

My double I bought from chamlins were better than described on the net. I would never worry about buying a double unseen from the Enid-guys.
