Ed416Hornady Lever Revolution bullets in DRs?
Anyone tried Hornady's Lever Revolution 350 gr. .450's in anything like a .450 BPE? Seems like a perfect match to get a ballistically superior projectile for the DR. Ed

Bill CooleyI haven't seen them for sale. Could be intersting if you can get it to regulate.

JPK350 grain bullets should shoot pretty for any 45 cal NE rifle. 350gr Woodleighs shoot well in my 458 DR. And 450 NE No2 reports that the regular 350gr Hornadays shoot well in his rifle.
450NE No2's suggestion is to load the 350's over the same powder charge that you use for full weight bullet loads and then adjust from there. Worked for me!

Ed416Correct. The 350 gr. Hornady's I shoot now function well with 55 gr. of I 4198 at 1950 fps and regulate perfectly. I just thought it's be fun to try and get better down range trajectory with the pointed bullet. I may have to buy some loaded 45-70 and pull the bullets! Ed
