Cleaning Rod for Double Rifle?
My standard cleaning rod is a little long for my double rifle.

What cleaning rod do you use/recommend?

Thanks

Dewey makes a shorter rod. YOu might be able to pick on up at Carter's Country

If you have a large enough caliber, the rosewood & brass take-down rods commonly used for fine SxS shotguns work well. Just wouldn't want to use too harsh a copper solvent on it.

Only fitting for a fine double rifle also.

Use a rusty coat-hanger!!!

Only kidding!

Dewey "brass" rods are my choice for the shop and range....I use a Boresnake in the field / on Safari.

Pro-Shot products makes a really nice little 4 piece Brass rod for extended trips afield.
