I have just one a Bernadelli Gamecock SXS 20 ga. I got it used for about $800.

I can shoot it well.

Thats about all I know about them. Don't see them around here in CT USA much.

Get the 'power' or optic that your eye likes instead of what someone else says.

When we go to the doctor they ask us what lens we like!

Do that with your optics.

Make sure you get a V (Vincenzo) Bernardelli. There are also P Bernardellis out there...much lower in quality. I've had Gamecocks and Hemmingway models...nice SxS shotguns. They may make a DR, but I've never seen one.

They used to make a small DR. They also made a lovely little DR hammer gun. Never fired one but they sure did handle beautifully. George Caswell has sold some of them. He could probably tell you all about them.

I saw two O-U 8x57 double trigger, at Cabelas Dundee about 2 years ago $1800, they were on sale. There was no target, or a regulation ammo. Cabelas had no idea of what type of ammo to use, and never got back with me. I sent 5 emails to Berardelli never got a answer. If I remember correctly the rib was cut for 11mm claw rings.
