Well, you rarely see such a perfect marriage of wood and steel. Congratulations, a thing of beauty, for sure.

I have a small's farm (100 acres) full of little South Georgia whitetails (and a few hogs) and I just figured that they needed the respect of London's finest.
It's still in Merry Ol' awaiting import permits, but I should have it well before Thanksgiving.
This is my second .375 Flanged Nitro Express 2.5". The first did it's duty well with plains game on a couple of safaris and maybe this one will take a few weeks off from the ardors of protecting my woods from vicious 100 lb. deer and go get a kudu or sable or something.
What do you think?

bwanamrmGorgeous rifle Ernest! I hope many trophies fall to it and it is passed lovingly on to Miss Emmy to cherish and enjoy one day far in the future!

Idaho Sharpshooter"best" depends on whose wallet has to open.
You do, however, have a very strong candidate for that title.
Enjoy...

N E 450 No2Judge, that is one Marvelous double rifle. The 375 Flanged 2 1/2" is a great calibre for game up to even elk and moose sized game, and African plains game shot at "bush" distances.
VERY NICE.

GrenadierWonderful "Royal", Judge, and I cannot think of a more useful caliber for the 48 contiguous US states. How about some details like year of mfg, barrels, weight, exc.? I am guessing the proof is for the 14 Ton 270gr load and not the 17 Ton 320gr load. Is that correct?

9.3 X 75RThe word used by pagosawingnut is the first that came to my mind, "exquisite". Elegant could also be equally applied. Great cartridge too. Congrats sir!

NICE CALIBER AS WELL
Anyway it matters not, because my experience always has been that of---- a loss of snot and enamel on both sides of the 458 Win----

JudgeGJust talked to Ricky at Westley Richards in London. The U.S. import license is in hand and they are just awaiting the U.K. export license (which should be completed this week).
Won't be long now!
BTW, anyone have an idea of where I can buy some Kynoch .375 Flanged Nitro Express 2.5". Midway, NECG, etc. don't have any. I can get the brass, but I'd like to buy some of the ammo is anyone knows where any is?

RockdocJudge you may have to contact Kynamco.
Did you receive the original factory records with the rifle?
Lovely to see it hasn't been reamed out to the flanged magnum.

NakihunterIt would be interesting to see what people think of other top DRs like Alex Henry or Daniel Fraser - (Nitros only - Sorry Cal - no BPE this time).
Like Cal I am a sucker for the really nice BPEs. If I struck Lotto, I would buy a whole bunch of them just to cuddle and kiss them!
