Bases for Win Grand European O/U Rifle
Hey, does anyone know what type of bases, and who makes them, fit the old Winchester O/U double rifles? I traded in one in 7x65R and want to scope it up for Whitetails.

I seem to remember seeing them with EAW. I hope memory serves me well on this one and that would be a good choise if you can find them.

I believe mine has the EAW swing mounts. I will try to remember to look at it when I get home.

Biebs,
Save yourself the trouble and send that old rifle to me! My 8X57JRS needs a companion!

Rusty, they are pretty cool, aren't they? The one I got was in Alaska, I traded the guy a 416 Hoffman for use on his Bears up there. The Win O/U must be an early one, because the wood looks like the older Pigeon grade Model 12s...with what would today be called exhibition feather crotch walnut. NICE!
