The guys test-fired the 7.8 lb. 450 #2 SxS today. Sweet. Smiler

Adding the ribs, sights, etc. will push it to a bit over 8 lbs. but livable. More later!

I can see a 7 lb. 450/400 in the future!

Bill,

Reread what your father said about rifles that were too light for their caliber.

Will,

What has got you so fired up about doubles lately? I thought that you were a confirmed double hating, double trashing, bolt guy.

So it's not trigger envy then. But a clear case of barrel envy? Wink

I guess I missed out on the earlier stuff about this light weight rifle. What is it being built on?

How hard is it going to be to convert it to double triggers when you get tired of it and sell it? jumping
