DuggaBoyeif you are talking about internally threading a Side by Side shotgun--
the first consideration will be-
barrel thickness -
IE: is there enough thickness to thread for HEAVY WALLED Rifled Chokes-
(though, some may make a thin wall rifled choke that I am unaware of)
IF they are thick enough--
then you can decide whose
rifled chokes you want
( there are many thread pattern and brands to choose from)
then you get to playing with your regulation--
Suggestion:
get the gun and fire some slugs through it BEFORE you start down the"choke" road--
you may be surprised-
for example-
am inexpensive 26" Eibar 20ga 3" with IC/M barrels stacks Brennekes in a 8" circle at 75yds --
sometimes you get lucky-- and find a Brand of slug that works right off the bat
