F2FGuns & Ammo article- British doubles.
I don't normally read gun mags since I find them extremely opinionated and far too focused on numbers (the .222rem is a dead and obsolete caliber apparently

)
However I found this article online and I am not sure if it has been posted here (did a quick search and nothing came up) so here you go:
Click me to read!All the valid arguments for owning a double without any obsessive thought on velocities and paper numbers.
Good stuff.

Omnivorous_BobI agree with Will. Not to digress, but Terry W. (and Craig B.) epitomize opinionated and biased, from my point if view. And they're both huge fans/in-the-pocket-of of Kalifornia Rigby, which is enough to make anyone question their judgement.

"PS. To add a bit of Pappasonian philosophy: this single barrel stuff is just a passing fad. Bolt actions and single shots will fade away as did disco, the hula hoop, and bell-bottomed pants. Doubles will rule the world!"

F2FI concur, however its rare to find a positive piece on doubles in mainstream gun magazines so I shared it "as is" .
All gun writers who write for profit are biased purely by default. Its hard to take a review seriously when they have ads of the company of the firearm they are reviewing on the adjacent page.
Nonetheless I found this article (regardless of who wrote it) entertaining, never said I was a fan of the mag or the author.

Omnivorous_BobF2F, that is certainly fair enough for me. It is especialy nice to see doubles mentioned in the context of US hunting too.
