Lead Cast .474 Bullets????
Does anyone know where I can buy some lead cast 470 bullets?? I would like to get some to shoot cheaper and lighter practice loads for target steel plinking and pig blasting in my Searcy 470 NE.

I know I can get the Lyman or RCBS mold and cast them myself but I would prefer to just buy them if anyone makes them at a good price.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Jamie

Idaho Sharpshooter
Oregon Trail Bullet Company in Baker City, Oregon.
The Laser-Cast brand. Their's are a hard alloy and IIRC they have a gas-checked one for the .480 Ruger, etc. 1-800-811-0548

I use Meister Hard Cast in several DR's. I have found them very accurate and they have many weights for each caliber.

Dave, Thanks for the info.
I sent you a PM question about the Meiser Cast.

Everyone else thanks for the info also. If anyone has any loads that they would be willing to share I would appreciate it as well.

THANKS

Don't screw with pistol bullets go here and get the real thing.

They sell a lubricated, hardened, gas checked .474 bullet in 510 gr weight that will take full power loads no problem and they are CHEAP.

Yes they will I use them all the time. They regulate and they are hell on hogs.

My rifle like them over 107 grs of IMR 4831 your mileage may vary.
