Great load for 500/416

Thanks to Leo Grazzaffi - I have found a great load for my 500/416. 45 grns of AA5744 behind a 330grn cast bullet shoots to point of aim - and regulates- in my Krieghoff. Mold is a nominal 350grn RCBS Gas Check mold.

No Filler - quick and easy to work with

No, but it is perfect for the short mosed pigs that I am hunting in the fields at the moment. I will switch back to Woodleigh 410grn solids in front of 109grns H100 for the long nosed big grey pigs this weekend

So have you measured the velocity? Seems like they would be a good alternative to a downloaded 450/400.

I have found that mmy Krieghoff shoots any 500 gr. bullet pretty much the same. You will be happy with your 500/416.
