daleatkinsAdvice and Opinions Please
Hello Gentlemen,
After promising Dad that this will be the last gun I badger him into making for me, he has agreed to build me a 9.3x74r on a 16 ga. J.P. Sauer that I bought with this purpose in mind. What I need to learn is what should the gun be regulated with. I'm sure, I believe

that I want to use a 286 gn. bullet. Since this could be considered a virgin run for regulation, should we use a factory load or a lighter reload? While I'll shoot the gun a great deal, all my hunting will be in north america with only the slightest chance of ever getting to Africa and then it will probably be a plains game hunt. I just don't want to always have to buy premium bullets for the range. The gun will have a quaterrib with a fold-up peep and cut for talley style rings and then a middle sight with one or possibly two folding blades.
thanks
hell of it is, I didn't even need one till I found you guys.

475GuyBy the time it is in it's final stages of completion, you'll be able to get factory loads to regulate your 9,3 with. Look at all the threads about new factory loads.
