Much good info in this forum helped me in my research for my first DR purchase. I couldn't find a dremel regulated Sabbatti so I ended up settling for a new case colored Merkel 140 in 500NE. Hopefully it'll get here before rabbit season is over here in Oklahoma. Looking forward to trying it out and learning more about the DRs.

GREAT CHOICE. I HAVE MEMORIES OF TWO BULL ELEPHANTS IN BOTSWANA AND A BUFFALO IN ZIM TAKEN WITH MY MERKEL 470 AND I WOULD NOT TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING. IT HAS BEEN A VERY ACCURATE AND DEPENDABLE RIFLE. I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOURS!
