How much work does your case need? Kade Gile works with Huey gun cases and can do just about anything on the case. He's not inexpensive. Gade.

Another option would be guild member Gary Nicholson

I do my own. It's really quite simple.

I have relined several well used English cases. It is really not that hard. Buy a top quality wool blend pool table cloth and Barge contact cement. Lowes used to have 1/4" thick oak in 1-4" widths that made great replacement dividers. You can use these to custom fit your case to your gun without using block spacers. Lots of satisfaction in doing the job yourself.

I used to build cases and occasionally rebuild them. Good billiard cloth and plain Elmers glue work fine. Use map pins to hold the cloth in place while the glue sets. I always used Red cedar for the internal blocks. Adds a nice smell too.

I just bought a custom-sized Kalispel double gun take-down case made of 0.08" thick aluminum with welded seams.

My goal is to fit out the interior like an old-fashioned oak and leather case, but with the benefit of modern high density foam padding underneath.

Has anyone else done that?

I just had a vintage case redone, I could have bought a decent pool table for what I paid! And it had some flaws, next one I’ll attempt myself!
