Picked up my new double over the weekend and now want to keep it in tip top shape, well tip top as it is going to get since I plan on using it as much as possible during hunting season. In your most humble opinions, what is the best gun oil to use on doubles. I will use a grease on the hinge but for the rest of the gun? Open to suggestions. Thanks

I like the Tetra products...grease, oil, etc. No problems at all thru 4 Safaris. Doesn't seem to pick up grit as bad IMO.

I use Break Free quite a bit.

If it is real dusty I use Prolix.

It quickly dries and "dust" does not seem to stick to it.

I'm partial to Shiloh Creek Gun Oil, since I manufacture it. However, best non-synthetic on the market, in my biased opinion. It's flow range and viscosity far surpasses most off the shelf products.

For my hinge pin I use Militec Grease.
