My local gun shop has some 600NE factory ammo in that brand, i thought id ask if anyone here has used this ammo before?

I'm sure that Cal will be happy to try out a few cases for you. He'll provide a shipping address.

I have shot a few rounds from my friends .450/400 - it goes bang/bang .
My friend is using those exclusively (his K gun was regulated with LFB's) and has shot a couple of critters in Zim so far. Excelent on the range - no clue on bullets they load - either A2 or Woodleighs? Guys from LFB say their loads are very similar to Hornady's.
LFB's TMR 450/400 next to Norma's 9,3x74R.
"A2 dead tough" ?

Yes, there are from Germany. Semi-custom-made amo.
Regulated in different Versions, good stuff, maybe a Little bit too expensive...

Their catalog is bilingual (DE/EN) - you can download it here:
The soft nosed 600NE bullets look to be woodleighs but the solids seem to be different. The solids dont have the more rounded shape that the woodleigh has.

I've seen it used in the factory before; primarily in 577 & 600. I don't know if it's cheaper or more expensive, but I do recall they using the woodleighs in the big bores and tipped, banded monos in the smaller bores. I seem to remember they have a proprietary design. I'll be there in a week or so and ask again.
Where have you been? I am missing all your hunt reports and pictures of your adventures. Please stay more engaged. You are one of the most interesting characters here.

Thank you Mike. I am flattered.
- my best hunting buddy got hit by a brain stroke (he is coming around slowly - but still long way to go) and that was the main reason I put most of the hunting here aside lately (still going out every weekend tho but not much to write home about and things do look different now), - according to rough seas here I passed 2 trips to Africa, - played around with 8x68S this year - in the course of improving shooting moving targets I sank deep into sporting clays matter (at the end I have attend. 2 international shoots in Italy and Austria) - in process of buying a 470 (Africa wasn't behind the corner atm) got a Land Cruiser instead - besides - I guess not much I can add to a debate lately...
