Modified RCBS Trimpro to accept 450, 470 NE cases

I modified my Trimpro to trim 450 3 1/4" and 470 3 1/4" brass. No more trim dies and filing for me

Paul, I honestly think that if I had handled the Heym 450/400 in January the decision would have been made. I hope to handle one soon.

Guys,

The Lyman case trimmer for drill press has a universal shell holder that takes a .470 NE just fine. I mounted mine on a plate that can be held in the jaws of a mill vise ... and this allows high precision location of the case axis.

If you don't count the cost of the drill press or milling machine it is a relatively inexpensive solution to the problem

I have a Forster I believe it is the classic model? No BS no modifications and it has room to spare with a .470NE case.

Bought master reloading kit from RCBS, 20 years ago, Before Rockchuker supreme press and I was into Big Bores and Doubles. So I wanted to make it work. But for future expansion I will consider.
