Just got an email from Butch Searcy who is recovering from mainly lungs-related ailments. He included a pix of a tape from front trigger to recoil pad that is just over 15 inches. Should not have doubted it. Must say I use a shotgun (sxs) at 14-5/8 and the rifle mounts about the same, nearly as I can tell.

I like shooting the 375 flanged, but never wanted one as the 450-400 is a bit better IMO..

I've always liked the H&H Dominion doubles.
From many accounts, they are said to be the strongest sidelock double ever made.
They just look like total business to me...
