700 Nitro
Hello all,

I have a 700 H&H NE brass case.
I want to make a dummy round, the primer pocket is huge and deep.
It is not a Large rifle primer or a 209.
Does anybody know what it is ?
What are the dimensions of the primer that will fit ?
Thanks

Has it been modified to prevent reloading? I'm not aware of the 700 using any non-standard rifle primer.

Depending on make of case both the WR (Romey) and the kynoch are machined for the 50 BMG primer. That by Bell for hollands was for the regular LR Magnum primer.

hope this helps

Horneber 700 Cases also use the BMG (CCI #35 will work) primer.....the charge is close to the same volume as the BMG.

thats very true..... both those companys did that with the 50 bmg primer...

the cases i used for my gun made by sercy used fed 215 larg mag primers tho and it worked fine but you have to make 1005 shure the load has enuff filler to compress the load or a hang fire will occure.
