Paul, you need not be jealous. The wood on your "bespoke" V-C .600 makes me want to throw rocks at mine.

CCMDocSeeing the 500 along with the 577 makes me want to buy that V-C 450-400 that's for sale in the Classified section.

Were I not trying to pinch as many pennies as possible for my Great Caprivi/Sobbe Elephant Adventure with Pops I'd be all over it and taking photos like those above.

I have to get me a zebra skin as a background for photos.

ozhunterBump
Hey Ozhunter,
Glad you bumped that up - well worth drooling over Don's Verney-Carron doubles again particularly the 500 in its place of honor the elephant Don took.

CCMDoc Beautiful Ozhunter, it is coming along and it beautiful.
The Verney-Carron family do great work.
Looking forward to seeing the finished double and a target showing its functional beauty as well.
Best of luck and congratulations,

Damn Adam, it's a tough life! Hate it when the safari dates are so close!

As I oftentimes say, if you're looking for sympathy, you came to the wrong f****in place.

I'm happy for you "mate"!

Cane RatThe VC's are wonderful rifles. I love my .470. Ozhunter will be thrilled when he receives his.
ozhunter, it looks great! my VC 500NE is 5mths into build and sceduled for delivery in Sydney early September, just in time for our Buffalo hunt with Rigby 350 [ harry ] and guys in the Northern Territory. They may well ship them together. Can't wait to see them. Did you see Gary's 450 400 and Georges 470 VC'S. I beleive they arrived a couple of weeks ago.
cheers

ozhunterHi Nick,
Yes, they probably will send ours together and I did see the 450/400.

When they arrive we must catch up for a shot.
