Bill/OregonPedersoli Kodiak costs ...
Just had an e-mail from the main Pedersoli importer in the U.S. saying that with the fall in the dollar against the euro, the next batch of Kodiaks coming into the US will list near $5,000. So much for affordable doubles.

N E 450 No2My brother had an older Kodiak in 45/70, and I have shot a couple of newer ones in 45/70.
They all shot very good. However at THAT price I would take a hard look at the Chapuis 9,3x74R.
While I like the 45/70, the Chapuis AND the 9,3x74R make one of the best hunting rifles on the Planet.
