SnowwolfeAnyone know anything about this rifle?
http://forums.outdoorsdirector...owthread.php?t=77727Seems interesting. Anyone here know any more information about maybe the rifle or the smith?
If you go to Nitro Express and send CptCurl a message, he might get back to youas the picture is in his folder on NE.
Alternatively, have a look through NE as you might find more info on the gun since the pic is hosted there.
Do a search on NE for "BlainSmipy" or "Blain Smipy"

BiebsA shotgun conversion, but with a claimed claimed load of 750gr at 1,950 fps, which isn't too far off a modern 577 NE. I wonder if the action is strong enough to withstand it, or for very long.
It's a 10 gauge action.
Side clips, long bar - 2 plusses in my book.
A mate has a 12 Gauge Greener 577 NfB - Light Nitro and gets
almost those ballistics with a 650gn and it holds up well.
He says it is proofed which is more than some are.
