I bought one of the Rem/Baikal .45-70 double rifles Friday. The triggers feel like sand was poured in the action. Does anyone know who works on Baikals, or would attempt to improve these triggers?

I would first try flushing out the trigger "group" with the Hornady spray cleaner/dry lube.

Then shoot the rifle for a while to see if it smoothes out some.
