Pictures of Heym M88
Now that I have mastered the process of being able to post pictures (thanks to Terry Carr's tutorial) thought I would post some pics of my Heym double in .470 NE.

I guess this means we have to go shoot it now?

Please give me a call 281-773-7987 we'll make a plan to get a bunch of the DRSS together for a shoot!

Any time. I told Jeffeosso last weekend to be sure to give me a call when the intrepid group heads out to take on charging and hostile milk jugs as well as other dangerous inanimate objects. Smiler

You have obviously never been confronted with one in a charge?

Actually, the bobcat was taken with something at the opposite end of the spectrum, a .17 HMR.

That is a huge bobcat! Big as a lynx!

The .470 NE Heym is great. A best choice gun for Bwana. thumb

What does the Heym weigh?

What did that bobcat weigh?

Both are wonderful specimens. thumb

Bobkitty is from Colorado, shot it on a mountain lion hunt. Got the lion a couple of days later. We never weighed it but I would guestimate it weighed around 20 pounds.

On the Heym, I have never weighed it. I will try to do that tomorrow and let you know. Regardless of its weight, it lets you know it is there when it goes off that's for sure.

Out of all the new DR, I have always like the looks of the Heym best and yours is certainly a nice looking DR. How does she shoot?

If you don't mind, give all us shoppers all the details: barrel length, load it shoots best, velocity, weight,..... you get the picture.
I eat that stuff up, and really enjoy hearing a story about a guy and his double, TYPE ON!

OH GOD! {Seriously, we need the help.}
