mehulkamdarAnyone have a Beesley Shotover gun in the UK for examination?
British Gunmaker Richard Barnes is considering building a double rifle on the Beesley Shotover design in 470 or 375. Richard used to work for Purdey, and has since served at Boss and H&H before starting his own shop. He is a gentleman and among the finest gunmakers with a team of Purdey, Boss and H&H colleagues.
He would like to examine a Shotover gun in the UK if someone has one that they'd give him permission to look at. From what I understand, he and his team would be happy to have a commission on the first Shotover gun to be built in 70 plus years, but they plan to go ahead and build one anyway even if they do not have a commission.
I would appreciate it if someone were to help. Perhaps someone from the DRSS in the UK . . .
Best wishes in advance and thank you!
