A friend called to tell me that Clark Custom Guns in La. is making a Double Rifle in 405 Win.

Sure enough there is info on it on their web site.

They appear to be a nicely-done conversion. I wonder what make of barrels he's sleeving in. It appears in the photo that he's finished the muzzles and front sight in the H&H fashion. Personally, I love an English grip on a game gun but I think that it's out of place on a rifle!

Now, with double triggers and a pistol grip in 450-400, at that price point. They will not have time to work on 1911's

I only see the builder once a year when he comes to town to see a mutual friend, but last time (fall of 08)I saw him he told me that they picked up the CZ line of shotguns so he could build DRs.
I don't know anything about CZ shotguns, but I assume that he is using current production models.
