Advice Please
Hello All;

I am very close to buying a new Merkel 140 E in 450/400 NE. Does anyone have experience with these that may affect my decision? It's a lot of money to me and I don't want to make a big mistake. This would be my first DR.

Thanks for your help,

Hugh

Hughman,

You're welcome to give me a call or send email. I think you'll be very pleased with both the gun, it's accuracy, and the caliber.

Just shot one for another customer this week with good results using factory Hornady ammo. I'll be glad to forward pictures if you'd like.

PM me for phone number and email address. Mike

I was in the same situation a couple of years ago and, after looking both over (not shooting them), I chose a Krieghoff for slightly more. I like it.
