CCMDoc600 NE Lee Factory crimp die
Just saw a.tinkerer's post about a friend getting a 600NE.
Last week I mailed a dummy 600NE (Bertram brass, Woodleigh bullet seated to cannelure) to Lee to have them make one of their Lee Factory Crimp dies.
They will call me when they get the round so that I can pre-pay for the die ($75 + S&H).
While I havent asked them, I don't see problem with them making a few dies from that dummy round for anyone who might be interested.
You can either give them a call and deal directly with them
or
If there is interest, let me know here and I will ask them to make as many as you need. You will have to pre-pay - either to Lee directly if they will take orders based on my dummy (I don't see why they wouldnt) or pay me me if they wont.
Just wanted to save some time and sacrificing a round (even if you eventually get it back).

CCMDocBwananeson,
I just sent my die and a dummy round back to Lee Precision to check something. They should have it tomorrow or Monday
Call them on Monday and ask them to make you a die based on my dummy round. MatthewX is doing the same.
Stay well

Cal,
Give Lee Precision a call tomorrow (Monday). Speak with Pat - the person who had emailed me about my die.
They should have my die and dummy cartridge by Monday or Tuesday the very latest.
Stay well,
Paul

CCMDocAll,
I've just sent an email to Pat at Lee precision telling them to expect a few calls from others who want a Factory Crimp Die made from my dummy round.
Here was the email I recently received so that you all have the necessary info:

Paul,
We can make another one from your dummy cartridge, but we would need payment in advance for custom work. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
If your friend chooses to mail his order to us, he can send a check or a money order in
US funds. A personal check will be held for 2 weeks before the order is shipped.
