I am getting daily spam from this email - surely a member would not use our addresses for their own benefit, or would they?

That's a common virus, where it gets a hold of someone's mailbox and automatically sends out email to everyone in the address book. i get a couple a week. I'll let Todd know.

We do NOT, repeat NOT, share email address of our members with anyone.

Never have, and never will.

But, I receive email messages from my own address, addressed to me.

This is normally done by crawlers which harvest email addresses on the net, and I am nit really sure how anyone can stop it.

Like everything posted on the Internet - no matter how one thinks it is private - some has access to it.
