Getting my first double!!!

It's here and I've been fondling it all night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post pictures when I can!!!!

Congrats Brett!
Are we still on for Sunday? What time? Looks like my Searcy will not be finished for another week so I can't contribute any new toys to the group shoot.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Some of us are going to show up as soon as they open the gates to try to "reserve" room before the Ak47 and black plastic crowd shows up.. The 'shoot' is at noon.

Probley not I can see there may be some resistance in some places. Don’t you think it is sad that we have “progressed” to where this would be a bad idea.

Bill,

I have a SXS shotgun and a SXS rifle sitting beside me as I type in my office! Plus I have the best hunting/fishing mag collection around in my waiting room. To boot many of my patients come in conceal and carry. Come on up we're a different bread here!!!

Looking forward to seeing it tomorrow. Saw Mikes 450 yesterday it's a beaut.

It sure is a good feeling haveing that first double in your hands im sure you have a smile on your face from ear to ear.

OK I'm going to have to get my life on track. I have way to many things infringing on my shooting time.

Nice double brett. Very well balanced.
Mike I still want to take a closer look at your new 450. I've been there next to it twice now and barely given it a good look over. It's also reay nice and hardley a hundred years differance in age.

I've got a ball and about 10 pins that are soon going to die! That was fun! You're cheeks sore because you were shooting from' the wrong side of the rifle.

My shoulder is 110%, but my cheek..........like I was in a bar fight!

I need to get my length of pull a little longer! Man is it shooting well. I'll be working up more loads next weekend.

Sorry I did not see your post earlier. I have been searching for over 10 years for A Hollis records. No luck so far. Closest I have come has been to exchange emails with Stuart Leonard.

He was kind enough to show me a photgraph with Leonard and Hollis next to each other.

Since most of Jeffery's rifles were made by Leonard, the Leonard serial numbers can be seen to progress as the Jeffery serial numbers do.
