Question on trimming .577 Brass

NitrodaveQuestion on trimming .577 Brass
My friend has the H&H .577BPE 2.75" shooting great! Problem is: He has been cutting 3" cases down with a dremmel, and finishing them with a file. We can't find anyone who makes a case trimmer that will do .577 cases.
Any thoughts???
Thanks, ND

PS: I'm afraid to shoot it, because then I will want one...

ROSCOERCBS will make you a trim die that will work well for this task.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! 'What the hell could possibly go wrong?'

NitrodaveThanks Roscoe!
RCBS said they don't make a trimmer that big...they never offered to make a "trim die". I have never used one, so I never thought of that...seems simple enough

.
Thanks, ND

elk hunterNitrodave;
I had the same problem and ended up making a collet, pilot and cutter head to fit an old Redding trimmer that I had.
If your friend doesn't have a whole bunch of brass to trim, I could probably be talked in to doing it for him.
Let me know if you/he are interested.

2triggersNitrodave;
You can adapt a Forster but it is a bit
of work. About like doing elk hunter's Redding
trimmer. I don't use mine any longer, let me
know if you want your own.

I have ahad both C-H 4-Square and RCBS both in file trim dies. Both work fine. If I recall the C-H was cheaper today than RCBS was 40 years ago.

Nitrodave2triggers,
I use a Forster Classic for my NE stuff. My friend Mike, currently uses a Lyman, but will buy a Forster, if you have a way of making it work. Do you have a "ready to use model" for sale? I can hook you up with Mike.
Thanks, ND

Thanks for the PM. I will call tonite.
Yes, I have everything. You can borrow it if
you like. That way it doesn't cost an arm and
a leg and you can get a lifetime supply of
cases.
