Chris,
I thought I told you I wanted the elephant on the bottom. I guess you'll just have to sell it to some other guy now.

That would really put Chris in a bind, it could take him several minutes to find somebody to take that ugly thing off his hands.

Congrats on a beautiful rifle.

Both doubles are very nice.

The Heym 450/400's handle and shoot great as well.

Both elephant scene enravings are realistic and nicely done.

If I could afford it I think I would go with three eles, and in a real elephant caliber.

Actually I prefer scroll engraving to animals....
But seeing as I have killed a cape buff, a lion, and a bull elephant with a 450/400, that double would do me just fine. Big Grin

They say that Zimbabwe and Botswana have around 67 Thousand too many elephants EACH.

I would not be afraid to take the cull contract for BOTH countries and use a 450/400 for the job. BOOM

OH, I would probably want to shoot a few with a revolver, just 'cause I was there. Wink

Damn, Chris, you keep tempting me with those things, and this one just about got me! That is a beautiful rifle! thumb

Of the two I perfere the deep chisel to the Bolino of the second one posted here, but I certainly wouldn't turn either down!
