carpediem4570Selling a DR. What info and pictures do I need to post?
Good Day Ladies and Gentlemen:
I am going to sell one of my double rifles but I don't know what information or pictures to post. Can you tell me what you need to see in order to make an informed decision.
Having never done this before, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Carpediem

BiebsMost important is the brand and caliber. If there are different grades or variations of that model, list which it is. LOP and weight is also important, plus barrel length and overall condition.
Example: Merkel 140-2.1 Safari DR with game scene engraving in 470 NE. Gun has only been range fired, never hunted. Weight is 10.5 lbs with 23 1/2" barrels. LOP is 14 1/2". Bought rifle new 2 years ago. Test target included, showing 1 1/2" group at 50 meters with Hornady factory DGS ammunition. $8,995 shipped to your FFL. Pix can be whatever you think shows the rifle as it is, such as engraving, any dings or marks, wood of the buttstock, etc.

carpediem4570Thanks Biebs:
I will put an ad together and have it by tommorow.
I will tell you that the DG is an Antonio Zoli in 9.3x74r. This gun is a SIDE BY SIDE, NOT an over under. The model is a Savanna E.
I am the second owner but the gun came to me virtually new in the box with the original test target. I was told the original owner put a half box of ammo through the gun and then it disappeared into the gun vault.
I have put 40 rounds through it and has only been range shot.
The rifle has a scope mounted and is mounted forward of the action.
I will get the rest of the info and pics tonight and post tommorow.
Kind regards,
Carpediem
