Poor thing has been “rode hard & put away wet”.
Or more crudely put, it is beat to shit. The seller is pretty proud of it price wise.

The 2 3/8” BPE would be an OK Whitetail calibre.

From the proofmark description it appears reproved to Nitro but cant say without pix of the proof marks.
Wondering it it was rebored from a smaller calibre then reproofed for .450/.400 2 3/8”
