8-Bore Gunsmith?
I recently obtained an 8ga P Webley shotgun. It is an underlever hammergun and weighs a pretty stout 13 lbs. I also had a contact provided me with a set of 8-Bore rifled barrels left over from an old project. I'd like to find a gunsmith to take a look at the components and advise on the possibility of converting the gun to an 8-Bore DR. I have no use for an 8ga shotgun, so would sacrifice the monobloc in the rifle conversion. I've checked with a couple folks, but they either don't dabble in such projects any longer, or are backlogged several years in committed work.

Try Dennis Olson in Plains, Montana. He has done some good work for me. Not very talkative, but a good gunsmith. Bailey Bradshaw might also be an option, if he has time.
