BiebsBal, they're not traditional, but probably one of the most accurate of the doubles out there. I've had 2-3 of them over time.

ozhunterWas not impressed with the plastic and rubber type bits.
Also some of the screws looked like they came from the local hardware shop.

Todd WilliamsThe S2 also has the automatic safety. Whenever you break the action open, the safety re-engages. Fine on a shotgun intended to shoot doves or clay targets on the wing. Not so fine on a DGR IMHO.

BiebsBal, never had the chance, just target stuff. No 450 yard shots at Chipmunks with open sight that Todd makes on a regular basis with his doubles :-)

Beretta682EAn accurate double rifle is as likely as a stable unicycle.
S2 is a waste of fine German engineering to make a stable unicycle.
Wish they would instead make a heavy all steel safari k95.

ozhunterMy mate had one on our Safari in Chewore.
Also, the "ebony" fore end has what looks like a mold line in it. Can anyone confirm that they are in fact Ebony or Plastic???

Doesn't everyone? I mean, for a left to right wind, fire the left barrel. Right to left wind? Fire the right barrel. Solves the issue of windage every time. That's the secret!!
