billinthewildMexican Hot Dogs
Guerro Canelo's, Tucson, Arizona. I felt duty bound to embark on a food journey in the world of Mexican hot dogs. The things I do for this forum.
And so, yesterday, I forced myself to drive to Guerro's place on Oracle Road for the sake of our members and sample his fare. A hot dog wrapped in bacon and grilled, placed on a soft and wonderful roll, with a few Mexican beans, grilled onions, cheese, and an assortment of condiments. A 10!!!
And no need to press one for English.

69deerMy favorite! Here is how we used to get them: Grill a hot dog ,put refried beans on a tortilla, slap the hot dog on it. Use the hottest sauce you can build. Fantastic! Here is how I build my sauce, Take a couple of tomatoes and throw them in the blender, take a jar of sliced halapenos, drain. Take that and empty it into the blender, add some fresh hot peppers and blend all together.Drain the juice and add to the hotdog, Wow! It will make your mouth water.
