KMG Hunting SafarisCuddeback Ambush IR
Gentleman,
Just returned a faulty Cuddeback trail cam for a friend here in South Africa. Sent it back with one of my hunters. It was an old cam, but was never used once, and when he eventually came around to using it, it never worked. After a bit of "negotiations" with Cuddeback, they agreed to replace this old model under warranty with the Cuddeback Ambush.
Does any of you gentleman out there use this model? What I would like to know is, what does this model look like to the human eye when triggered in the dark? Is there a visible flash or glow?
Thanks for any input.
Take care,
Marius Goosen

vgodenwaI don't know which model you had but I got the first IR model and it never worked either.
They wouldn't help me at all. I'm surprised you got a replacement.
I won't touch their products.
Use the tiny Bushnell products. They work well for me.
Use the lithium batteries. Thousands of pics per set and resistant to weather extremes.
