Here's one for us....
A woman businessperson (female executive?) is visiting Portland for a week-long conference.
After a solid week of rain, she is fed up. Coming our of her hotel to go to the convention center the last morning, she almost trips over a young lad (and his bicycle) who are huddled out of the rain for a moment under the entrance canopy.
She snaps at him "Young man! Does it EVER stop raining in this damned state?"
He looks up, with a quizzical expression on his face, but says nothing.
"Well", she demands,"Didn't you hear me? Speak up..."
"Lady", he finally answers, "How would I know? I'm only nine years old!"
Well, it does stop occasionally, when the fronts move up north to Seattle.
