Bad behavior-potentially costly, The right words-priceless
At a retirement gathering for a dear friend, Norman who generally doesn't imbibe gets swept up in the festivities and ties one on.

A good friend gets him home and is met by the very displeased lady of the house.

Norman then proceeds to vomit all over his spouse and her new carpet as she is trying to get him to bed.

The next morning he awakens to find a note from his wife on her pillow , his head throbbing he realizes what he has done.

He opens the note expecting the worst--

Instead he finds-- Hope you feel better Honey, your favorite breakfast is waiting down stairs.

Stunned he staggers down the stairs only to find his son having breakfast.

Where is Mom?

Dad she's out buying steaks for supper for you.

I don't understand, I expected her to be angry.

Well Dad she probably would have been,
but as she tried to get you undressed and in to your pajamas --
she said you kept grabbing at your clothes fighting her and yelling--

Stop , I'm married!
