Actually it would be the website that is blocking anyone other than america to see it. I get the same screen as The Dane. Usually it happens with shows websites that we get here on the TV but for some unknown reason they block it on the web.

This has nothing to do with freedom of speech.

It is all due to youtube and their advertizers.

I watch some BBC videos on my PC if I use a proxy based in the UK.

The same videos are not available in other countries.

The sad part is that they check the IP address you are logging from, and they decide if you can watch it or not.

Hulu - a video streaming site - has gone even further. They block all proxies from watching their videos.

It all boils down to how much they can make out of us.

I thought it was a block or a filter imposed by a foreign government - plenty of those do exist!

But it's certainly true that capitalism can be more ruthless than government!
