You are partly right, but some not. There are a huge number of similar or even more strange videos taken most likely in the United States. I don't post them here, because it may seem offensive. And Darwin award winners, mainly Americans.
In Russia, for some reason very fond of DVRs, and motorization of the country occurred later than in the US, so the quality of the driving and road conditions are much worse, and is relatively more road accidents. Therefore videos of incidents in Russia - a lot. But personally I've never seen or done something similar to what you see in YouTube, although I live in Central Russia, in the largest city in Europe. Although there is - in my childhood I also jumped in the deep snow from a fairly high buildings. Until I got a slap in the face by my own knee.
By the way, I get no less pleasure from the comments to my posts, than those who read them (I hope).

But hands down the best dash-cam video of car crashes is always from Russia

it's all about the prevalence of dash cams

I'm not disagreeing with that. Although mortality on the roads in many countries is also quite high: if in Russia 184 death per million population, in the USA, for example -
109. The figures are quite comparable. In Eastern Europe, slightly lower than in Russia, in Western - much less about 40. But in Eastern Europe DVRs is a very popular hobby. A couple of years ago I was driving a camper, and suddenly, from the curb across the road ran a horse with two irresponsible passengers. I managed to brake in the meter from the cart. In the cabin behind me a lady pulled the door. When they learned that I was not installed DVR, they almost killed me Smiler

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Well I understand WHY Russia has so many dash cams

It's to combat insurance fraud.

There is not the slightest doubt that vashper contributes mightily to the variety of the humor forum.
